The importance of labels and care cards This morning I was reading about a candlemaker who had supplied a candle to a customer and long story short, the customer has used the candle and allegedly let it burn too long causing the container to explode and damage a bench in her home.  The customer is now wanting the bench repaired by the candlemaker who may be up for a few hundred dollars. Changes in 2022....

In summing up 2021, it was a bit of a comedy of errors.....the sitting through daily Premier updates that filled us with doom and gloom waiting for the numbers that decided our fate! I have to say though, reading the comments on FB posts under these updates became quite entertaining! 

For those of us living on the Vic/NSW border we had the battle of the Premier's to see what changes would be made to the strip of land that became known as 'The Border Bubble' as they fought the Covid war of words between states.

Our new 'must have' fashion accessory became the designer face mask; the scent of hand sanitiser wafted through the air as you entered shops and buildings, and the don't forget to 'scan the QR code' reminders on every window we passed - we loved these so much that we adopted them for our own packaging and advertising!

How to Embed PDF Fonts for printing.
PDFs are the preferred file format for most, if not all, professional print providers. A PDF can be set up to give your printing company all of the pertinent information they need to effectively print your design project while avoiding problems and delays. Some of the most frequent issues print providers encounter with customer files are regarding fonts. Corrupted fonts, incompatible fonts, or fonts that are missing altogether are issues that can easily be avoided by embedding your fonts into your PDFs.

Do you want a fantastic print job?

High resolution is usually a file that is 300dpi, it has been created in a design program like Adobe or Corel and its perfect for printing! Low resolution is usually under 100kb, blurry, pixelated and most likely the result of artwork created in an app or similar program. Great for onscreen use but totally useless for printing.
