Shipping Rates explained in detail

To help you select the right shipping option for your order we have outlined our rates for your convenience.   We charge Australia Post standard rates as outlined below and found on their website.

We are bound by Australia Post terms and conditions and delivery timeframes.  

Orders Exceeding 3kg
Standard shipping rates apply to parcels up to 3kg in weight. If your order exceeds this limit, additional postage will be calculated based on the final packed weight and delivery location. These charges will be added to your order total, and you will be contacted to confirm and arrange payment prior to dispatch.

Australia Post Options

Green & White Tracked Letter $7.50 - Tracked - 5 to 8 days delivery timeframe

  • Weight must be under 100 grams 
  • Thickness can be no thicker than 20 mm (2 cm) 
  • Suitable for stickers, clothing tags and small numbers of tags
  • Signature NOT required

Parcel up to 250 grams $9.70 /  Express $12.70 - All tracked

  • Weight up to 250 grams max
  • Suitable for mixed and bulk orders up to $50 in value or 250 grams in weight
  • Parcel delivery timeframe between 2-7 days depending on location
  • Express delivery timeframe between 1-4 days depending on location
  • Signature may be required

Parcel up to 500 grams $11.15 /  Express $14.65 - All tracked

  • Weight up to 500 grams max
  • Suitable for mixed and bulk orders up to $50 in value or 500 grams in weight
  • Parcel delivery timeframe between 2-7 days depending on location
  • Express delivery timeframe between 1-4 days depending on location
  • Signature may be required

Parcel 500 grams to 1 kg $15.25 / Express $19.25 - All tracked

  • Weight between 500 grams and 1 kg
  • Suitable for mixed and bulk orders over $50 in value
  • Parcel delivery timeframe between 2-7 days depending on location
  • Express delivery timeframe between 1-4 days depending on location
  • Signature may be required

Parcel 1 kg to 3 kg $19.30 / Express $23.80 - All tracked

  • Weight between 1 kg and 3 kg
  • Suitable for mixed and bulk orders over $50 in value
  • Parcel delivery timeframe between 2-7 days depending on location
  • Express delivery timeframe between 1-4 days depending on location
  • Signature may be required

Missing/Late Parcels:

In the event of a missing parcel or delay in delivery after we have shipped your item, please first lodge an event with Australia Post. 

You can request proof of delivery and start an investigation into your missing parcel.  You must also advise us by email so that we can also launch an investigation from our end.  

Whilst we do our best to ensure on time delivery we cannot be held responsible for network delays or missing/stolen parcels so please ensure that your delivery location is safe.

International Shipping:

We ship Ted + Toot labels to USA, Canada, New Zealand, UK, Ireland and Singapore. All taxes payable will be added at checkout.

1. United States (USA)

  • Shipping currently suspended between Australia and the USA/Puerto Rico

2. Canada

  • VAT/GST: 5% GST + provincial taxes may apply

  • Customs Duty: Applies depending on item type and value; small parcels under CAD 20 often exempt.

  • Handling Fee: Courier may charge CAD 9–15 processing fee.

  • Notes: Canada Post will collect duties/taxes on delivery if not prepaid.

3. New Zealand (NZ)

  • GST: 15% GST for goods valued over NZD 1,000; below this, GST may still be charged on parcels from overseas retailers.

  • Customs Duty: Rare for small parcels; depends on goods category.

  • Handling Fee: Courier may charge a small fee for customs processing.

4. United Kingdom (UK)

  • VAT: 20% VAT applies to all imports (as of Jan 2021)

  • Customs Duty: Depends on HS code and value; small parcels may be duty-free if below £135, but VAT still applies.

  • Handling Fee: Courier or Royal Mail charges £8–£12 handling if VAT collected on import.

5. Ireland

  • VAT: 23% VAT on all imports

  • Customs Duty: Depends on item type; small parcels may be duty-free if under €150.

  • Handling Fee: Courier may charge €7–€12 for customs processing.

6. Singapore

  • GST: 8% GST for goods imported, collected on parcels valued over SGD 400.

  • Customs Duty: Usually 0%–5% depending on product type.

  • Handling Fee: Courier may charge small processing fee.
